Rules & principles

A few simple principles keep RUNCLUB safe, welcoming and fun for everyone.

The golden rules

Two things we never compromise on

1

No runner left behind

If the gap between the leader and the last runner becomes too wide, the group loops back. We start together and we finish together, whatever your pace.

2

Commitment to consistency

RUNCLUB never cancels a run. Sessions go ahead regardless of rain, holidays or post-race fatigue. You can always count on us being there.

Code of conduct

How we look after each other

  1. Respect all people on the route

Share the road and the park. Be considerate to pedestrians, cyclists, drivers and everyone we pass.

  2. Zero tolerance for spammers & sellers

RUNCLUB is a community, not a marketplace. This is strictly enforced on all our social channels.

  3. Strict non-discrimination

We do not tolerate discrimination based on race, colour, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability or appearance.

  4. Don't litter

Carry your trash home, and pick up abandoned bottles along the way. Leave the route better than we found it.

  5. Be kind and courteous

Healthy debates are welcome, but they require kindness. Treat others the way you want to be treated.

  6. Respect privacy

Always ask permission before posting photos of others.
